New clothes, new tablecloths, busy shopping trips, delicious food that makes your mouth water! Risotto, bongo tjobi, ntouba, ndola, meatballs, roasted red and white beans and refreshing drinks. Why all this fuss? Because it’s almost Christmas, of course!

“Moving, excellent, a pleasure and well organized,” were some of the comments from those who attended the Christmas concert at Brunstad last weekend. A variety of musical performances filled more than 3200 people with Christmas cheer at this traditional event.

In the grey month of November, many conferences are held around the world that edify and strengthen the friends. A week ago there was a youth conference in Adjud, Romania. 

“The youth weekend in Asia has a special spot in my heart,” says Eunice (19), who participated in this event for the third year in a row, this time together with approximately 50 other young people from the Asian churches.

While their brothers and fathers were attending the Brothers’ Conference at Brunstad, girls from all over Germany were gathering in the sleepy town of Mühlacker for their own weekend together.

Babysitters were in short supply last weekend, as 3500 people travelled to Brunstad to participate in what must have been the “parents’ event” of the year.

October means that fall has arrived in Canada. Tourists appreciate the glowing fall colours and farmers are busy harvesting the crops. But how do our friends in Canada celebrate this beautiful season?

“I’ve been looking forward to going to camp for more than two years, and it’s the best experience of my life!” exclaims Synøve (12) from Drammen, Norway. She is on a 4-day camp together with 28 other 12 year olds.
