The Church in Almelo

It’s not always easy keeping sixty children happy and out of trouble...

After many months of being cooped up inside, we recently held the first Family Day of the year. It was an extra special time together outdoors, in a relaxing atmosphere.

A group of excited 12-14 year olds from the church in Almelo, Netherlands took an Activity Club trip to North Holland and spent the weekend at the meeting hall belonging to the friends in Schermer.           

The church in Almelo, located in the eastern Netherlands, started about 50 years ago.  This was the result of Arild Tombre and David Nielsen, both from Scandinavia, living in the Netherlands for a time and preaching the gospel in different places.
