Our Life

We are a family oriented church that loves life and has people represented in every occupational and social economic group in over 65 countries around the world. Family life plays a large role in the church, and large families within the church are quite common. We believe in putting the gospel to practice and living it out in our own lives. However, within the guidelines the Bible gives us, every family is unique and different and everyday life for a family can vary greatly from home to home. In the church, we teach the importance of being able to love one another and forgive one another, just as Christ has done for us. Each family is individually responsible for putting God’s word into practice and deciding how best to put these values into practice in the home.
We hold weekly general church services and in addition to Sunday school and youth gatherings for the children and young people, we offer boys’ and girls’ activity clubs. There are also many opportunities for the elderly—both in the church and in family life.
Every year, international gatherings and conferences are arranged at the conference center in Brunstad, which are also transmitted internationally by satellite. In addition to spiritual edification, extensive and varied entertainment and extracurricular activities are offered to young and old.
