BRUNSTAD, NORWAY: Kåre J. Smith began this year’s Sisters’ Conference with a powerful, faith-strengthening invitation to lay hold of your heavenly calling. Frøydis Bratlie was one of several people who expressed her great appreciation for the help in this gospel. 

97 years old. That is certainly a respectable age. And it is even more respectable when we know that for almost 80 of those years Mary Jansen has consciously lived a wholehearted Christian life.

If we believe what's written in the Bible, we have enormous promises for a resurrected and victorious life! Kåre J. Smith speaks warmly and fervently about this at the brothers' conference in Salem, Oregon, USA on January 29^th 2010.

Frøydis Bratlie has not only overcome cancer; but with the help of spiritual weapons, she has also overcome doubt and the fear of death. As a spiritual warrior, she has remained standing in her faith throughout her illness.

100 years ago this summer, one of the most important pillars in the Church, Aksel Johan Smith, was born. Brunstad Christian Church used the opportunity to commemorate and shed light upon a faithful and remarkable life.
