“Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise.” (Proverbs 6:6)
The Brothers’ meeting at Brunstad on Wednesday evening was a strong encouragement and inspiration to work diligently both in earthly things and in spiritual things.
“By nature we are actually very lazy – all of us!” said Kåre J. Smith, in this excerpt from his message. He spoke about the foolish virgins in Matthew 25, who were lazy and had not gathered oil in their vessels.
“You need to be diligent to gather food for yourself, naturally speaking. And it requires no less diligence to get spiritual nourishment,” Smith said.
Bjørn Nilsen followed up by speaking enthusiastically about the joy of working, and how that joy affects the person who possesses it.
